Border Security and Counter-Terrorism

Border security remains a top priority for Jordan. During 2025–2026, the Armed Forces expanded the
use of integrated border surveillance systems, UAV monitoring, ground sensors, and rapid-response
units to counter smuggling, infiltration, and asymmetric threats.
